7ao Simulator: The World Cup Draft & Football Simulation Game
The 7ao simulator (also written as 7a0 or 7-0) is a free browser game where you draft legendary football players from every World Cup since 1970 and simulate a complete 7-match tournament campaign. The goal is simple: win all 7 matches and go 7ao.
What Is the 7ao Simulator?
The 7ao simulator works as a football draft game. A slot machine spins and assigns you a national team from a specific World Cup year — Brazil 1970, Germany 2014, France 1998, and so on. You pick one player from that squad, place them in your formation, and repeat 11 times until your starting XI is complete.
Once your team is built, the simulator runs 7 matches: three group stage games followed by four knockout rounds. Your team's performance is calculated from player stats (pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, physicality) weighted by position and adjusted for era. A 2022 player gets a slight statistical edge over a 1970 legend — but both can win if placed correctly.
The ultimate achievement is a perfect 7ao run — winning every single match from the group stage through the final. It happens in roughly 2-3% of attempts, making it genuinely rare and worth sharing.
How to Use the 7ao Simulator
- Choose your mode — Classic (full stats visible), Blind (stats hidden, knowledge-only), or Daily Challenge (same squads for all players that day)
- Pick your formation — 4-3-3, 4-4-2, or 4-2-3-1
- Draft 11 players — 11 rounds, one squad per round, pick your best fit each time
- Run the simulation — 7 matches, rising difficulty, knockouts from Round of 16
- Share your squad — Use the Share Code feature to send your lineup to friends
7ao vs 7a0 vs 7-0: What's the Difference?
Nothing — they're all the same game. The "a" in 7ao and 7a0 comes from keyboard typos where users hit "a" instead of the hyphen "-". You'll find the game under all three spellings. The official site is 7-0.online, and the simulator works the same regardless of how you typed it to get here.
The game is also known by different names internationally: sete a zero in Portugal and Brazil, 7a0 gioco in Italy, 7a0 oyun in Turkey, futbol 11 or juego 7a0 in Spanish-speaking countries, and sometimes typed as 7x0 game or 7 a 0 jogo. The goal is always the same: build your football 11 and go 7-0.
Best Players in the 7ao Simulator
With 944 players from 91 squads across 15 World Cups (1970–2026), the draft pool is deep. Some of the highest-impact picks:
- Ronaldo (Brazil 1998/2002) — top-rated striker, dominant in the simulation
- Lionel Messi (Argentina 2014) — highest dribbling and passing stats
- Franz Beckenbauer (Germany 1974) — best defensive option in the game
- Zinédine Zidane (France 1998) — elite midfield all-rounder
- Gianluigi Buffon (Italy 2006) — top goalkeeper rating
7ao Simulator Tips
- Fill your goalkeeper slot first — it's the hardest to improvise and impacts every match
- Prioritize positional fit over raw rating — a 85-rated winger at striker outperforms a 90-rated midfielder there
- Modern players (2018–2026) have era multipliers that boost their effective stats
- In Blind mode, trust historical knowledge — if you know who played in which World Cup, you have an edge
- Daily Challenge is fixed — no re-rolls allowed, same 11 squads for everyone worldwide
